I’m currently a Master degree candidate in Modern and Contemporarary Chinese Literature at Shantou University since the fall of 2023. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in College of Engineering in Shantou University, and my final year project won the Outstanding Undergraduate Graduation Design (Thesis) of Shantou University under the supervision of Dr. Zhongfa Mao.

My current research interests focus on, but not limited to contemporary Chinese literature and cultural studies, science fiction studies, and digital humanities.

It is my great pleasure to be supervised by Dr. Tao Jiang/)from College of Liberal Arts during my postgraduate studies. In my free time, I enjoy basketball (champion of the 2016-2017 Shantou University Intercollegiate Cup Basketball League, champion of the 2016-2017 Shantou University Sports Festival Basketball Tournament, quarterfinals of the 2019 Guangdong Province 3V3 College Basketball League, fourth place in the 2024 Shantou University Sports Festival Basketball Tournament), middle and long distance running (2016-2017 Shantou University Games 5000m 4th place, 2016-2018 Shantou University Games 1500m 4th place), swimming, billiards, and travelling.

I expect to graduate in June 2026. I am currently actively seeking a PhD position in Fall 2026.
